Patrick launched a series with the famous secondary school - Wellington College. The goal is to provide another Wellbeing service to the 5,000 school leavers, as well as current pupils and staff.

The mental theme is how alumni manage the stressful challenges at the end of school life and into their next life chapters.

Episode 1 is with alumni Sophia Miller. She shares her own journey managing post school life stress and change, and why her mind has led her to life in Bali now. All honest and inspiring.

PRCA and their 25,000 global members.

MMS is running a series with PRCA: interviewing their staff and senior members about Mental Resilience. Each episode is shared with their 25,000 members.

For #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek Patrick interviewed a group of experts to talk about a variety of industry issues.

Patrick partnered with the PR and Comms lead association PRCA to interview their senior members about their approach to building Mental Resilience. The series is for their 25,000 members to get help in their stressful work life.

How to take away stigmas

We are not taught from about Mental Health and rely on ourselves to understand it. We let our mind manage which can create a negative stigma to avoid us managing our stress and not learning about it. The workshop is an introduction to Mental Health and how anyone can be mentally healthy or illness, like Physical Health. All workshop delegates come away with more confidence to self care and manage their stress, as well as others. If you want to be success in your life and career this is a way to help you hit your goals quicker.

 
 

Creating Boundaries

MMS ran a workshop to the HR team at Close Brothers. Close Brothers is one of the largest financial companies in the UK. The workshop was to guide the team who to set personal vs personal boundaries and how to push back in a professional manner. The key discussion were managing the emotions and focusing on policies and ‘paid roles’.

Resilience is a key way to cope and prevent mental illness. It is often ignored due to lack of education and time to find out what works for you. Understanding your MentaL Resilience will help you respond quicker to your stress and focus on hitting your life and work goals. This workshops introduces the concept of the Circle of Strength to manage your stresses.

Managing Financial and mental health

Do you agree that we have never been taught at school and higher education ‘mental and financial health’? MMS works with CW Financial Planning (Associate Partner at St James’s Place Wealth Management) to run ‘Budgeting Resilience’ modules for students and alumni going into the next phase of their lives. The modules will lay the solid foundations to build a successful life through planning and budgeting ahead and avoid being held back

Living with terminal cancer - a mental health story

Patrick started working in the marketing and media sector over 17years ago. In August 2017, he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and is currently in remission, as of March 2019. This is a catalyst for him to share his story, professional and personal and to inspire people to enjoy life and manage their stress.

Buzzfeed example workshop

MMS ran a commercial workshop in London with BuzzFeed. This comprised of research and running workshops for the EMEA BuzzFeed Team – 32 people managing the regional teams. The teams involved were: Sales, Coordination, Marketing, Research and Content services.

The training consisted of:

  • running research with 31 clients to understand the challenges and opportunities, and where BuzzFeed needed to improve.

  • Organising a client panel with Mediacom (x2), BBDO and McCormick to have

  • running a 3-day workshop the commercial teams.
