MHFA England Mental Awareness Course
This course is available for any member of staff to raise awareness of mental health in and outside their organisation.
What mental health is and how to challenge stigma
A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
Learning summary:
This is a half day course. Learning takes place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities

We provide an extra 60 mins to follow up with the group to follow up. This time is included and can be used within 8 weeks of the Refresher course.
